How to read online casino terms before you deposit
A plain-English checklist for finding the clauses that can affect deposits, bonuses and withdrawals.
Start with the contracting entity
The brand name is not always the company holding your account. Find the legal entity, licence and market-specific domain in the account terms before registration.
A licence shown on one country site may not govern another. Use the version of the terms linked from the exact site you intend to use.
Separate cash and bonus balances
A promotion can create a separate balance with its own expiry, game contribution and maximum conversion rules. Check what happens to that balance when you request a withdrawal.
Check withdrawal conditions
Look for identity checks, payment-method restrictions, minimum and maximum amounts, pending periods and any monthly limits. Processing time and the time taken by your bank are different things.
